Ever wonder what your favorite analytics tool says about you? No? Too bad. We made a list anyway. Excel: You’re loyal. Maybe too loyal. You have 97 tabs open, and one of them is from 2009. There's nobody you trust as much as VLOOKUP. Power BI: You love pivot tables more than people. You might be the person who makes a slicer just to impress someone on a first date. Tableau: You treat dashboards like modern art. You’ve said “color tells a story” out loud. Prob more than once. Cognos: Your idea of a good time is solving a data issue by editing an XML file you definitely weren’t supposed to touch. And you have a folder system so organized that it might even qualify as architecture at this point. Qlik: You most likely think in connections. While others see tables, you see possibilities. 100% guaranteed that you use the word “associative” in casual conversation and mean it.
